Dr. Wang Xiaoyun, a professor and doctoral supervisor at Shandong Agricultural University, a member of the Expert Committee of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation. Her primary research areas include vegetable cultivation physiology and vegetable ecophysiology. She is extensively involved in the comprehensive utilization of agricultural waste and green vegetable safety production. In response to the key challenges in vegetable safety production, Dr. Wang conducts research on green production techniques for vegetables and the development of facility equipment. She has pioneered the construction of a sunlight greenhouse cultivation and control system based on integrated water and fertilizer equipment. This breakthrough addresses the bottleneck factors limiting the production of green organic vegetables in our province. An Introduction to Dr. Gaoshang Kun, a Member of the CBCGDF Expert Committee

Dr. Gaoshang Kun, a member of the Expert Committee of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF). He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture from the College of Plant Protection at Shandong Agricultural University in 2010. In 2012, he completed his Master's degree in Plant Protection from the same institution. Subsequently, in 2016, he obtained his Doctor of Agriculture degree from the Research Institute of Forest Ecology, Environment, and Protection at the Chinese Academy of Forestry. Dr. Gaoshang Kun embarked on his career at the College of Plant Protection at Shandong Agricultural University in the same year he earned his Ph.D. His primary focus has been on research related to the prevention and control of forest pests. He has contributed significantly to academic literature in this field, with 14 research papers published in both domestic and international academic journals. On September 21, 2023, the first annual meeting of the Environmental and Allergy Medicine Professional Committee of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) and the Kickoff meeting of the Young Scientists Program was successfully held in Wuhan, Hubei province. As the leader of the scientific research fund review expert group of the Environmental and Allergy Medicine Professional Committee, Professor ZHU Rongfei delivered a speech themed "Young Scientists Committee Work Deployment and Outlook" at the meeting, and made a clear blueprint for the future work of the Committee. Haidian District Forestry Station Visits CBCGDF to Respond to Public Concern about the Upgrading and Renovation of Dongsheng Bajia Countryside Park

On September 25th, representatives of the Haidian District Forestry Station and the government institution of Dongsheng Bajia Countryside Park, together with the supervisory unit and the design unit of the park’s upgrading and renovation came to China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) to respond the issues mentioned in CBCGDF volunteers' letter which "a project in construction has cut down all the trees" in the southwest of the Dongsheng Bajia Countryside Park of Haidian District, Beijing. The representative of Haidian District Forestry Station expressed gratitude to the volunteers and CBCGDF for their attention and supervision on the upgrading and renovation of the park. Recently, the Rural Revitalization Committee of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), abbreviated as CBCGDF Rural Revitalization Committee, was inaugurated in Haikou, Hainan. On September 21, 2023, Professor Frederick Charles Dubee, an expert of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) and a Fellow of the World Academy of Art and Science, visited the Beijing Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Science and exchanged views on soil health and sustainable development.   At the meeting, Professor Dubee gave a detailed introduction to the African Soil Strength Program ( ASSP) , an initiative aimed at improving soil health and fertility in African continent. On September 21, 2023, the first annual meeting of the Environmental and Allergy Medicine Professional  Committee of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) and the Kickoff meeting of the Young Scientists Program was successfully held in Wuhan, Hubei province. A few days ago, while on a business trip, I had the opportunity to read an article by Mr. Zhu Yi, Associate Professor at the College of Food Science and Nutritional Engineering at China Agricultural University, published in the Global Times. In this article, Mr. Zhu proposed a series of arguments suggesting that prepared meals, as long as they meet certain standards, should be promoted as the primary food for children. At first glance, this argument may seem reasonable. However, I believe that Mr. Zhu, whether intentionally or unintentionally, has sidestepped a crucial environmental issue: the plastic pollution associated with prepared meal packaging, which is a major concern that cannot be ignored.
