CBCGDF Representative Invited to Participate in the 14th China-France Law and Judicial Exchange Week | CBCGDF Legal Working Committee

On November 26, 2024, the Representative of the Legal Working Committee of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) was invited to attend the seminar on "Environment, Urban Planning and Real Estate Law" held by the French Embassy in China.

 


During the meeting, the French representative introduced France's legislative work in the field of environmental protection in urban development, including the consideration of the environment in urban planning law, environmental and civil legal liability, the current situation of the French environment: prevention, guidance and restoration, and environmental and contract law. Chinese representative introduced the latest developments in China's judicial relief for environmental damage and the execution of environmental cases, and international climate governance from the perspective of climate disputes. Finally, the two sides discussed on the topics of conflict between the environment and urban planning.

 

2024 marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France. From November 25 to 29, it is the 14th China-France Law and Judicial Exchange Week hosted by the French Embassy in China, and "environmental protection" is one of the key themes.
