A Siberian tiger attack in Boli County, Heilongjiang:The Tiger Bit a Villager and Rammed the Villager's Yard Door

Early in the morning of November 18, a tiger accidentally injured people in a village in Jixing Korean-Manchu Township, Boli County, Qitaihe City, Heilongjiang Province. A farmer's camera happened to record the thrilling moment of the tiger fleeing in the village.

The video recorded by the villagers of Changda Village shows: a big tiger, roaring, ran past the gate of a farmer's house. At this time, a villager told the neighbor: a tiger has come to the village, so the villager of this family put down the dirty bucket in his hand and went to the gate to check. Hearing the tiger's roar, he hurriedly closed the iron gate to avoid it. The tiger, which had originally fled to the west, suddenly turned back and pounced on the iron gate when it saw people. It pounced twice in a row, and the big iron gate was bent by the tiger. Then the tiger fled, and the old man quickly fled into the house.

According to the visit of CBCGDF volunteers in Heilongjiang, at about 5:00 a.m. on the 18th, Lao Zhao, a villager from Changtai Village, Jixing Korean-Manchu Township, got up early in the morning to graze his cattle, only to find that his own cattle had been killed by a tiger. The tiger had not left at the time, and even the old man had been bitten by it.

The Boli County Forestry and Grassland Bureau asks residents to take safety precautions and increase efforts to protect wild animals. If residents in nearby towns find large wild animals, they should take shelter in time and report immediately while ensuring their own safety.
