CBCGDF Invited to Participate in the Earth Charter +25 Event, Themed "Planetary Consciousness, Ethics of Care and Intergenerational Justice" | July 1, 2025 · Netherlands

Recently, the International Department of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) received an invitation letter from Ms. Mirian Vilela, Executive Director of Earth Charter International (ECI). CBCGDF International Department was invited to participate in the the Earth Charter +25 Event, Themed "Planetary Consciousness, Ethics of Care and Intergenerational Justice",  from July 1 to 3, 2025. The celebration was co-organized by Earth Charter International and Earth Charter Netherlands, and co-organized with One World Citizens Initiative and other partner organizations, bringing together ECI Affiliated and Partner Organizations, EC Educators and Young Leaders, thought leaders, friends, and supporters committed to “turning conscience into action.”.

Here’s a brief overview of what ECI is planning:

 

Day 1- (July 1) will open with informal meetings at Hotel Bilderberg Europa in The Hague, providing a relaxed space for networking, sharing and meaningful conversations.

 

Day 2 (July 2) will convene at the iconic and historical Peace Palace in The Hague for interactive dialogues and exchanges among participants, special contributors and inspiring speakers.

 

Day 3 (July 3) will feature Intergenerational Dialogue and Earth Storytelling at Estate Landgoed Zonheuval in Doorn, where we will explore powerful narratives across generations and nurture collective visioning for a sustainable future.
