LIN Ling: Suggesting to Establish a Biodiversity Standards Committee to Promote the Implementation of National Strategies

Dr. Lin Ling, Chief Expert/Researcher of the China National Institute of Standardization and Former Director of the Resource and Environment Division at the China National Institute of Standardization, attended the first symposium organized by the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) in response to the "China National Biodiversity Conservation Strategy and Action Plan (2023-2030)" held in Beijing.

At the meeting, Lin Ling suggested that the Ministry of Ecology and Environment should establish a Biodiversity Standards Committee to strengthen relevant work and assist in implementing the national biodiversity strategy; At the same time, she called for attention to mobilizing and encouraging enterprises to participate in biodiversity conservation and play a greater role from a market-oriented perspective.
