Countdown! Preparations for the Symposium on Promoting the China National Strategic Action Plan for Biodiversity Conservation are Underway

CBCGDF Actively Preparing for “the Symposium on Promoting the China National Strategic Action Plan for Biodiversity Conservation”

The Symposium on Promoting the China National Strategic Action Plan for Biodiversity Conservation, organized by the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), will be held on March 29th, 2024.  On March 20, the fourth preparatory meeting for the symposium was held, discussing  and comfirming the guest list, agenda, expected outcomes, and other arrangements.

Up to now, the leaders of relevant departments, university scholars and experts confirmed their participation, and this meeting has been strongly supported by many associations and universities.

CBCGDF organized a response conference to the “China National Strategic Action Plan for Biodiversity Conservation (2011-2030)” at the Great Hall of the People in 2011. As a continuation and innovation of the 2011 conference, CBCGDF, in conjunction with the latest national biodiversity conservation strategy, will organize a symposium on promoting the National Biodiversity Conservation Strategy Action Plan, with a focus on strengthening biodiversity conservation legislation, increasing support for biodiversity conservation, encouraging international exchanges and cooperation on biodiversity and contributing to the implementation of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework.

CBCGDF welcomes active responses and participation from all sectors of society.
