CBCGDF and Representatives from the Yunus Environmental Hub Jointly Discussed the Global Plastic Pollution Governance

The Deputy Secretary General of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) had an online meeting with the Yunus Environmental Hub social business strategy section and discussed the issue of plastic pollution on March 19, 2024.


During the meeting, the representative from Yunus Environmental Hub introduced their efforts on plastic pollution and circular economy, as well as their efforts on the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee (INC). The Deputy Secretary General of CBCGDF expressed appreciation for the work of the Yunus Environmental Center and introduced the CBCGDF’s efforts in plastic pollution control, including projects and public welfare advocacy activities initiated by the plastic reduction and plastic collection working group. Both parties expressed their willingness to further exchanges and cooperation in the future and jointly promote the development of global environmental governance.
