CBCGDF Peoples VS Plastics Action During Water Week of China | PP034

To practice the World Water Day and Water Week of China, the Bird Protection Camp of Hunan University of Arts and Sciences under China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) College Student Development Working Group, in cooperation with Changde River Youth Action Center, actively carried out a series of community clean-up, water protection lectures and Yuanjiang River beach cleaning activities.

Volunteers raised awareness of environmental protection and water conservation through community clean-up activities, and clean the riverbank; water protection lectures strengthened students' motivation to protect water resources and spread the significance of World Water Day and ways to conserve water.

Yuanjiang River beach clean-up activities promoted the public's concern for water environment protection, cleaned up garbage along the river, and carried forward the concept of water resource protection.

Together, these activities conveyed the theme of "use water resources wisely and manage water resources carefully" and demonstrated the environmental responsibility and action of college students.
