LEI Guangchun: Important to Strengthen the Implementation Guarantee of Priority Actions and Projects for Biodiversity Conservation

Prof. Lei Guangchun, Dean and Professor of the College of Nature Conservation at Beijing Forestry University, attended the Symposium on Promoting the China National Strateqic Action Plan for Biodiversity Conservation and delivered a speech.

Lei Guangchun stated that he had participated in relevant seminars and conferences on the priority actions of the national biodiversity conservation strategy in the early stage. However, the introduction of this strategic document was not based on the actual situation. Currently, there are still issues such as insufficient understanding of biodiversity itself, and the formulation of relevant plans and implementation efforts by various departments still need to be further strengthened. More attention and research are needed to provide more practical guarantees for biodiversity conservation.
