Dr. Zhou Jinfeng Visits Tianjin Foreign Studies University
On March 26, 2024, Dr. Zhou Jinfeng, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), and an academician of the World Academy of Art and Science, led a delegation to visit Tianjin Foreign Studies University. They were warmly welcomed by Comrade Zhou Honglei, Secretary of the Party Committee of Tianjin Foreign Studies University, and Li Qiang, Dean of the School of International Relations.
Tianjin Foreign Studies University is a prestigious institution known for its comprehensive range of foreign language programs and coordinated development across various disciplines such as literature, economics, management, law, education, and arts. It is one of the earliest eight independent foreign language colleges established in China.
During this visit, Dr. Zhou Jinfeng engaged in discussions and exchanges with the university's leaders, faculty, and students. Both sides delved into topics including global governance, talent cultivation, environmental protection, and sustainable development, sharing their experiences and insights.
Representing the secretariat of CBCGDF, Dr. Zhou Jinfeng introduced the organization's mission, key areas of work, and future development plans. He emphasized the significance of biodiversity conservation in the current societal development context and called for collective efforts from all sectors to promote talent cultivation and faculty development in ecological civilization construction, aiming to achieve the goal of green and sustainable development.
Through this visit, both parties deepened their understanding of each other's organizations, expanded cooperation areas, and made positive contributions to advancing the cause of biodiversity conservation and green development. Looking ahead, they hope to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation, jointly contributing to the construction of a community of shared future for humanity and the building of a beautiful China.
