Climate insurance also encourages proactive measures. Insurers may offer lower premiums to those who adopt sustainable practices, such as using renewable energy or implementing water conservation measures. This incentivizes businesses and individuals to reduce their carbon footprint.

 

Moreover, the data collected by insurance companies can help in understanding the impacts of climate change.
