Zhou Jinfeng Patiently Introduces China Biodiversity and Green Museum to Representatives of China Volunteer Service
Recently, several staff members of China Volunteer Service in Xicheng District, Beijing, led by President Zheng Chunling, visited the Biodiversity and Green Museum of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) for a field visit and research. Zhou Jinfeng, the president of World Academy of Sustainable Development Limited (WAOSD), fellow of World Academy of Art and Science (WAAS) warmly welcomed President Zheng Chunling and her party.
Zhou Jinfeng introduced in detail to Chairman Zheng Chunling the work done by CBCGDF, especially the China Biodiversity and Green Museum, in popularizing scientific knowledge of biodiversity among young people. He also led the visiting guests to visit the history area, protected area, cone area and other areas of the China Biodiversity and Green Museum.
Zhou Jinfeng started with the story of the reintroduction of the first-class national protected wild animal, the elk, from overseas, showing the development history of CBCGDF in the past 40 years; and focused on the CBCGDF protected area system created by CBCGDF across the country, and the important role it plays in protecting wild animal and plant species resources and ecosystems in various places. Zhou Jinfeng also introduced the concept of the Earth's life community to the visiting guests by introducing the South African meat cone plants. Whether it is the swifts in Beijing or the meat cones in South Africa, they seem far away, but in fact they are close at hand. They are all important members of the Earth's life community.
While introducing and visiting the Biodiversity Science Museum, Zhou Jinfeng also had detailed discussions and exchanges with Chairman Zheng Chunling on strengthening cooperation, promoting biodiversity knowledge to young people, encouraging young people to showcase the beauty of nature through artistic expressions such as painting and photography, and organizing young people's families to participate in CBCGDF's "Peoples vs. Plastics" project.
