Dr. Zhou Jinfeng to speak to Tsinghua University on “China's Story of Biodiversity”


From February 6 to 15, 2025, the “BioDiveING” team from Xiuzhong Academy of Tsinghua University will go to Germany and the Netherlands to conduct a series of “Sustainable Future” social practice, focusing on biodiversity.


Dr. Zhou Jinfeng, President of the World Academy of Sustainable Development Limited (WAOSD) and member of The World Academy of Art and Science (WAAS), was invited by Xiuzhong Academy of Tsinghua University to share the “China's Story of Biodiversity” with the team before the trip. The event is co-organized by Tsinghua University's Xiuzhong Academy and China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), and is open to all Tsinghua University students and faculty.

The exchange will include:

1. Introducing China's conservation actions in biodiversity, such as CBCGDF CCAfa, Biodiversity Conservation in Our Neighborhood (BCON);


2. Introducing China's biodiversity species: Great Bustard, Pangolin, Chinese White Dolphin, etc.


The exchange aims to let the young students understand the efforts and contributions of China, especially the CBCGDF, in protecting biodiversity over the years, and to make China's voice be heard on the world stage.
