Deployment to participate in important international conferences | CBCGDF Global Environmental Governance Capacity Building Workshop
On January 17, 2025, the International Department of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) and the CBCGDF OceanWetlands Working Group held the 3rd Global Environmental Governance Capacity Building Workshop in 2025.
In order to raise public awareness of biodiversity, promote the mainstreaming of biodiversity, and encourage more people to participate in biodiversity conservation actions, the heads of various communication platforms shared the latest data of scientific communication in the past week, analyzed the data and weekly reports in depth, and clarified the effects of communication activities.
Calling for of suggestions for the "Two Sessions"
At this capacity building workshop, the head of the International Department deployed the collection of proposals for the "Two Sessions" in 2025. Relevant responsible colleagues of the International Department summarized the latest progress of the collection of proposals for the "Two Sessions". At present, the relevant proposals collected by the International Department have been published on the "OceanWetlands" Platform.
At this capacity building work meeting, the head of the International Department emphasized the training plan for outstanding young talents. Recently, the CBCGDF Postdoctoral Workstation is recruiting outstanding young talents at home and abroad. The heads of each platform should make full use of the platforms they are responsible for, fully disseminate, and add new wisdom and strength to the Green Foundation's global governance team.
Preparation for the 2025 World Conservation Congress
The colleagues responsible for following up the 2025 World Conservation Congress (WCC) of the World Conservation Union (IUCN) reported on the relevant motions and some observed situations, summarized the experience, and deployed the next work plan.
