About CBCGDF
The China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) is one of China's leading non-governmental environmental organizations, dedicated to promoting biodiversity conservation, ecological protection, environmental rule of law, and sustainable green development. Through scientific research, policy advocacy, Community Conservation Areas (CCAfa), public education, and international collaboration, the Foundation strives to advance new civilization and address pressing environmental challenges both within China and globally.
CBCGDF is an observer to the Rio Conventions, IPBES, and IPCC, and has long been committed to global environmental governance. The Beijing-based organisation actively engages in various conservation efforts, with a particular focus on endangered species, ecological restoration, oceans and wetlands, and climate change, while working in partnership with governments, academia, and international organizations to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
