Volunteers from CBCGDF Suihua Wetland Conservation Area Investigate the Poisonous Corn and Millet along the Hulan River,Together with the Local Law Enforcement Departments

On December 25, 2024, volunteers from the Suihua Wetland Conservation Area(CCAfa) of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) cooperated with the Fishery Law Enforcement Detachment of the Suihua Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Fishery Law Enforcement Brigade of Beilin District, and the Fishery Law Enforcement Brigade of Wangkui County to investigate the poisonous corn and poisonous millet along the Hulan River.

On December 25, volunteers from the Suihua Wetland Conservation Area of​the CBCGDF once again cooperated with the Fishery Law Enforcement Detachment of the Suihua Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the staff of the Fishery Law Enforcement Brigade of Wangkui County to patrol the Hulan River section in Weixing Town, Wangkui County, Suihua City. Poisonous grains soaked in medicine were also found on the snow piles on the river surface in this area, and the patrol personnel cleaned them up on the spot.

In addition, according to statistics, on December 25 alone, the joint patrol team composed of 18 people from the CBCGDF volunteers and the fishery administration department patrolled more than 80 kilometers along the Hulan River, including more than 10 kilometers of frozen rivers, and cleared more than 20 illegal nets in two days.
