On December 6, 2024, the Standard Working Committee of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation and the Beijing Knowledge & Action Legal Practice Research Center jointly held a "Discussion on Optimizing the Business Environment and ESG Information Disclosure". The meeting invited dozens of experts and scholars from many universities and research institutions to discuss the topic and put forward relevant suggestions. The speech of Ma Yong, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation, is shared as follows:

The theme of today's meeting is "Optimizing the construction of the business environment and ESG information disclosure". The subject of "optimizing the construction of the business environment" is the government, and the subject of "ESG information disclosure" is the enterprise. The CBCGDF Standards Committee and Beijing Knowledge & Action Legal Practice Research Center, as social organizations, convened this meeting and invited experts and scholars to speak, aiming to build a bridge and bond between the government and enterprises, and to make suggestions for promoting the construction of the business environment and promoting ESG information disclosure. Below I will talk about my experience and opinions at the meeting:

First, social organizations should take positive action to implement the Central Governments Decision.

Second, the rule of law is the key to optimizing the business environment and promoting ESG information disclosure.

Third, ESG information disclosure promotes high-quality development.
