This article focuses on the close connection between ecology, life and living. Through the cases of crested ibis and elk, it reveals the great achievements of my country's biodiversity conservation, deeply explores the important impact of biodiversity on the survival and development of human civilization, and analyzes the three prerequisites required for human survival, namely: ecological prerequisite, technological prerequisite, and cultural prerequisite. The lecture analyzes people's lives in terms of food, clothing, housing, transportation, hobbies, etc., showing that biodiversity conservation is in life and between every move. It gives its own insights into life and civilization, and emphasizes the vital importance of biodiversity conservation to the sustainable development of mankind.

Biodiversity Expert Lecture

The "Biodiversity Expert Lecture" is based on a series of popular science activities launched by the Biodiversity Science Museum of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), providing audiences who love biodiversity conservation, especially young people and children, with the opportunity to get close to academic experts. The main speakers include many experts and scholars including Mr. John E. Scanlon AO, winner of the China Government Friendship Award, CEO of the Elephant Conservation Initiative Foundation, former Secretary-General of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES), and CBCGDF international consultant.
