Ecotourism Is Centered on the Concepts of Respecting Nature, Protecting the Environment And Promoting Community Development

 The term "ecotourism" was first proposed by the World Conservation Union (IUCN) in 1983. In 1993, the International Ecotourism Association defined it as a tourism activity that has the dual responsibility of protecting the natural environment and maintaining the lives of local people. The connotation of ecotourism emphasizes the protection of natural landscapes and is sustainable tourism.

 


"Ecotourism" not only refers to enjoying the beautiful scenery during the tour, but also emphasizes a behavior and way of thinking, that is, protective tourism. Not destroying the ecology, understanding the ecology, protecting the ecology, and achieving permanent harmony are a hierarchical and gradual behavior. Ecotourism promotes ecological protection through tourism and promotes tourism through ecological protection. To be more precise, it means to go to natural areas with a purpose to understand the culture and natural history of the environment. It will not destroy nature, but will also enable locals to obtain economic benefits from protecting natural resources.

 

Ecotourism is green tourism, which aims to protect the natural environment and biodiversity and maintain sustainable development of resource utilization. It emphasizes respecting the heterogeneity of nature with a normal heart and treating nature as an independent life with personality. While enjoying the beauty of nature, people who participate in ecotourism should pay attention to not imposing their personal will on nature and other lives. For example, if you see a wild animal, don't disturb it, let alone capture it. Learn to observe quietly, respect nature and cherish things, listen carefully to the sounds of nature around you, and fully appreciate and appreciate nature through activities such as photography, sketching, bird watching, and natural exploration.
