CITES Issued Notice of Funding Opportunity: Rhinoceros and Tiger Conservation Fund (RTCF) – Asia
The secretariat of Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) issued the Notification 2024\140 at the request of the United States of America.
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) International Affairs Program has issued a Notice of Funding Opportunity under the Rhinoceros and Tiger Conservation Fund (RTCF). The goal of the RTCF is the effective, long-term conservation of rhinos and tigers and their habitats. RTCF funds projects that increase rhino and tiger populations, manage their habitats, establish protected areas, involve local communities and indigenous peoples in conservation, manage human-wildlife conflict, and educate the public about these animals.
