The Seminar "RESPONSIBLE TOURISM CHINA OUTLOOK" Held by CBCGDF Will Start on December 27, 2024 in Hainan

China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) and Hainan University will jointly hold a seminar on "RESPONSIBLE TOURISM CHINA OUTLOOK" on December 27, 2024 in Hainan.

Tourism occupies a pivotal position in Hainan's economic landscape. It is one of the four trillion-level pillar industries in Hainan Province and a solid foundation for Hainan's 4+3+3 modern industrial system proposed by Governor Liu Xiaoming. As an engine driving Hainan's economy, tourism has not only injected strong impetus into Hainan's economic development, but

also an important force in shaping Hainan's new pattern of opening up to the outside world.

Responsible tourism is a key path and method to achieve sustainable tourism development. Starting from the first principles, it re-examines and sorts out the relationship between man and nature. In Hainan, tourism is regarded as a method, and a series of responsible travel projects for

young people in China and even the world are taken the lead. It can not only promote the high-quality development of Hainan Free Trade Port, build a modern industrial system, and enhance the status of an international tourism consumption center, but also promote the development of new tourism formats and models, enhance international competitiveness, realize

the value of ecological products, and inject new vitality and possibilities into the long-term and stable development of tourism. Through such practices, Hainan will not only become a tourist destination, but also a model of responsible tourism in the world, leading the tourism industry to

a greener and more sustainable future.

As the Hainan Free Trade Port is about to be closed in 2025, we sincerely invite you to attend the "RESPONSIBLE TOURISM CHINA OUTLOOK" to be held in Hainan on December 27, 2024 (Friday). The conference is hosted by the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) and Hainan University, and organized by the College of International Tourism and Public Administration of Hainan University and the CBCGDF Responsible Tourism Working Committee. The seminar will invite leaders from the Hainan Provincial Government, Hainan Province Department of Tourism, Culture, Radio, Television and Sports, Department of Ecology and Environment of Hainan Province, the Education Department of Hainan Province, and

other leaders to attend. We will also invite top international scholars and domestic scholars and experts in responsible tourism to contribute their wisdom to the development of green, sustainable and healthy tourism in Hainan after the port is closed in 2025, look forward to future

development opportunities together, and build new consensus.
