CBCGDF Volunteers Participated In a Joint Inspection: Are There Any Violations In the Sale of Rana Dybowskii In Fujin City?

 On December 5, 2024, the city of Fujin, Jiamusi, launched a joint inspection operation aimed at protecting the ecology and regulating the market order. The volunteer team of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) in Fujin, Jiamusi, in conjunction with personnel from multiple departments including the Fujin Fishery Administration Brigade, the Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau, the Market Administration Bureau, and the news media, conducted a comprehensive and detailed inspection of the sales of Rana dybowskii in Fujin.

 


The joint inspection operation covered a wide range of areas, including the big market, various stores, the East Morning Market and the fish shops along Dongping Road. The focus of the inspection was whether the merchants selling Rana dybowskii had the registration documents and whether there were any illegal transactions and fishing.

 

During the inspection, the joint inspectors maintained a rigorous and serious attitude and did not miss any corner where there might be problems. They knew that protecting wild animal resources such as Rana dybowskii is crucial to maintaining ecological balance, and regulating market order is also a necessary measure to protect the public interest.

 

Fortunately, after an in-depth inspection, no merchants were found to be illegally trading wild Rana dybowskii. All the merchants inspected had certificates of compliance management, which fully reflects the positive results of Fujin City in ecological protection and market supervision.

 

This joint inspection is not only a supervision of the market, but also an education for the public. By publicizing the harm of illegal trading and fishing of Rana dybowskii, the public's awareness of ecological protection has been improved and the public's environmental awareness has been enhanced.

 

This joint inspection action in Fujin City has also set an example for other regions. It shows the efforts made by government departments, social organizations and news media to work together to protect the ecological environment and maintain market order. In the future, the CBCGDF Jiamusi Fujin volunteer team will continue to strengthen ecological protection work and make greater contributions to building a beautiful Fujin and protecting the ecological home.
