The Deputy Secretary-General of CBCGDF Wrote a Recommendation Letter for Young Volunteer ZHANG Jing | Welcome Young Talents to join CBCGDF
Recently, the Deputy Secretary-General of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) wrote a recommendation letter to support trainee volunteer Mr. ZHANG Jing to continue his studies abroad.
Zhang Jing is a student of the Sustainable Development Talent Training Program jointly initiated by the CBCGDF International Department and the Globalization and Development (GAD) major of the Beijing Normal University-Hong Kong Baptist University United International College (BNU-HKBU UIC). He became an intern at the International Department of CBCGDF in March 2024.
The fifth session of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee to develop an international legally binding instrument on plastic pollution, including in the marine environment (INC-5) will be held in Busan, South Korea from November 25 to December 1, 2024. This meeting is also the last intergovernmental negotiating committee of the INC series of meetings, which will finally complete and form a draft plastic treaty instrument. In order to actively participate in the global governance of plastic pollution, the CBCGDF International Department has organized an INC-5 delegation. As a youth delegate of the CBCGDF INC-5 delegation, Zhang Jing will go to Busan, South Korea to attend on site the meeting.
CBCGDF has always been a network for interns and volunteers, and is willing to provide a platform for learning, communication and growth for interns and volunteers. At present, CBCGDF has more than 3,000 registered volunteers, distributed all over the world, and welcomes young people from all over the world who are committed to biodiversity conservation and green development to join it.
