Jinfeng ZHOU Invited to Attend the Asia Young Leaders Programme Public Forum

The global healthcare system is prime for a paradigm shift. While the healthcare cost continues to rise and the gaps in health coverage become increasingly apparent, the Asia Young Leaders Programme (AYLP) sets out to reimagine healthcare access across the region.

Dr. Jinfeng ZHOU, Founding Chair, China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), President of World Academy of Sustainable Development Limited (WAOSD), Fellow of World Academy of Art and Science (WAAS）is invited to attend the AYLP Public Forum in the vibrant city of Shanghai, China. 

The forum will see participants of AYLP presenting fresh ideas on developing Traditional and Complementary Medicine into an innovative solution to regional healthcare challenges. Participants will also witness the power of people-to-people exchange through lively discourse with representatives from diverse sectors and industries.

AYLP is a public leadership programme organised by GIFT with the aim of developing the next generation of leaders to lead Asia into a sustainable and equitable future. Participants embarked on a journey of immersive learning, personal development, and collaboration in Malaysia and China.

The world’s ocean ecosystems are facing mounting threats—climate change, marine pollution, overfishing, and habitat destruction due to human activities, to name a few. These pressures are particularly dangerous for marine mammals like cetaceans, whose survival hinges on healthy habitats and stable populations. Yet, in regions like the South China Sea, where biodiversity is exceptionally high, little research has been done to understand the needs and habitats of cetaceans.
