China Set Up a Centrally Administered State-owned Enterprise on Resource-recycling

China Resources Recycling Group Co., Ltd., a centrally administered state-owned enterprise (SOE), was officially launched on Friday.

It will specialise in resource recycling and reuse, and take on the important task of building a national platform in this regard.

The company will also simultaneously establish several specialised subsidiaries, whose business scope will include the construction of offline resource recycling networks, steel scrap recycling, recycling of consumer durables such as electronic products, trade-in business and recycling of used batteries from new energy vehicles and electric bicycles, recycling of decommissioned wind power and photovoltaic equipment, recycling of scrap non-ferrous metals, and recycling and processing of waste plastics.
