Focusing on Sustainable Development Empowerment | Dr. Jinfeng Zhou Visits UIC and Participated in Panel Meeting with Advisory Committee Members and Potential Employers

Dr Zhou Jinfeng, Founding Chair of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), President of World Academy of Sustainable Development Limited (WAOSD), Fellow of World Academy of Art and Science (WAAS）, visited Beijing Normal University - Hong Kong Baptist University United International College (UIC) and participated in several activities including the Panel Meeting with Advisory Committee Members and Potential Employers on Oct 30th, 2024.

During the Panel Meeting with Advisory Committee Members and Potential Employers, Dr. Zhou introduced successful cases such as the "Sustainable Development Leadership Platform" which has been carried out jointly by CBCGDF and UIC over the years, and pointed out that it is necessary and sustainable to let children really understand the huge environmental challenges of the current era, and the ecological environment crisis also provides a good opportunity for the majority of aspiring students to exert their strength and ambitions at home and abroad.

 


In the afternoon, he had a great career talk with active students, discussing possible solutions to current issues such as biodiversity loss and climate change. He answered questions and provided suggestions for students who aspire to contribute to the construction of the fourth civilization and sustainable development, helping them put their good intentions into practice and action. They also shared the stories, gains, and thoughts of true sustainable development advocates in China and other regions, receiving warm responses and applause from the students.

 

Dr. Zhou also had friendly exchanges with several experts, scholars, and students who attended the event on that day.
