CBCBGDF Collaborative Exchange and Discussion on the Construction of Environmental Protection and Tobacco Control Platform Held on October 24, 2024

2024 is the 19th year of China's comprehensive promotion of tobacco control. So far, 24 provinces in China have issued provincial tobacco control regulations, and 254 cities have issued municipal tobacco control regulations. However, China does not yet have a national tobacco control law, and the legal protection of tobacco control is not yet sound enough.

The Tobacco Control Working Group of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) will hold a discussion on " Collaborative Exchange on Environmental Protection and Tobacco Control Platform Construction" in Beijing at 14:00 on October 24, 2024. The meeting will invite representatives of the Inter-ministerial Coordination Leading Group for the Implementation of the Framework Convention on Tobacco Control, representatives of relevant government departments, experts in the fields of law, environmental health, disease control, and representatives of social organizations and international organizations to participate in discussions on relevant issues, to jointly build a tobacco control exchange platform, and promote health construction through environmental protection and tobacco control.
