Dottie Seal & Beijing Swift: Appearing in the CBCGDF Exhibition Area of Biodiversity Technology and Innovation Expo 2024

Dottie Seal, which recently assisted the contestants in the Dalian Marathon, teamed up with Beijing Swift, a member of the IP family of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), to come to South America and make an appearance at the CBD COP16 Biodiversity Technology and Innovation Exhibitionfrom October 21 to November 1, adding a lively background to the CBCGDF theme exhibition The Road to Harmony between Man and Nature.

Dottie Seal is a World Oceans Day cartoon character jointly launched by the Publicity Department of CBCGDF and the famous designer and IP planner Che Che. It is based on the spotted seal cub "Gousheng'er" rescued from the CBCGDF reserve. It is hoped that through the cute and lively image of Dottie Seal, new vitality and hope will be injected into the cause of marine environmental protection.

Beijing Swift is the second IP jointly launched by the two parties after Dottie Seal. It is based on a Beijing Swift that accidentally fell and was rescued by humans. Beijing Swift is a long-distance migratory bird that travels between Africa and Asia. It is a bird that is in a flying state almost all its life. It comes to China around April every year and flies to Africa around July. During the exhibition, Beijing Swifts are having fun in southern Africa!

The theme of this CBD COP16 meeting isPeace with Nature, which calls for exploring nature-friendly and sustainable economic development models.

At the "Biodiversity Technology and Innovation Exhibition", CBCGDF used Dottie Seal and Beijing Swift, two representative IP images of transnational and intercontinental migratory species that connect land, sea and sky, as the background of the overall design of the exhibition board, supporting the series of work carried out by CBCGDF in community biodiversity conservation innovation, co-construction and research, and jointly moving towards the path of harmony between man and nature.
