Focus on the Biodiversity Conservation in Farmland | CBCGDF Discussion on the Establishment of the "Technical Specifications for Farmland Biodiversity Survey"

Farmland biodiversity is the basis of human food security. So far, there is no relevant farmland biodiversity protection standards that have been officially released and implemented in China.

 


 

On the morning of July 1,2024, the General Technology Department of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) held a seminar discussing the establishment of the group standard for farmland biodiversity survey. Dr. ZHOU Jinfeng, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of CBCGDF, put forward important suggestions on the key groups of farmland biodiversity survey, sample point layout principles, key survey indicators, survey methods and technical innovation, and affirmed the importance of compiling the "Technical Specifications for Farmland Biodiversity Survey".

The 2024 World Water Forum (10th WWF) under the theme of "Water for Shared Prosperity" officially opened on Indonesia's island of Bali on Monday.
