In order to strengthen the protection of cultural relics, inherit the excellent historical and cultural heritage of the Chinese nation, and promote scientific research, in October 2023 and June 2024, the Sixth and Tenth Sessions of the Standing Committee of the Fourteenth National People's Congress respectively reviewed the Cultural Relics Protection Law (Draft Revised) and the Cultural Relics Protection Law (Second Draft Revised) and solicited public opinions.

The Legal Working Committee of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) attaches great importance to the revision of the Cultural Relics Protection Law, organized research and discussion many times, and submitted relevant suggestions to the Legal Working Committee of the National People's Congress, and some suggestions were actively adopted.

In order to facilitate everyone to actively participate in the study and research of the Cultural Relics Protection Law, the CBCGDF Legal Working Committee carefully compared the two drafts of the "Draft Revised" and sorted them out, and published them here for readers.
