Zhou Jinfeng Interview by Azerbaijani Media, Talking about COP29

Dr. Zhou Jinfeng, Secretary-General of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), expressed his high expectations and firm confidence in the upcoming 29th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP29) to be held in Baku, Azerbaijan, in a recent interview with the special correspondent of the Azerbaijan State News Agency.

He stressed that climate change is a global challenge that requires the joint efforts of the international community, and COP29 is such an important platform to build global consensus and promote practical cooperation.

He said that CBCGDF will work closely with other Chinese institutions and academic organizations to jointly organize colorful Green zone and Blue Zone activities, aiming to showcase China’s latest achievements and best practices in biodiversity conservation, green development and combating climate change.

The 2024 World Water Forum Opens in Indonesia's Bali

The 2024 World Water Forum (10th WWF) under the theme of "Water for Shared Prosperity" officially opened on Indonesia's island of Bali on Monday. This year ’ s theme emphasizes the need to work together to promote efficient and integrated water resources management to common prosperity.
