To Help the Building Materials Industry Save Energy and Reduce Carbon Emissions, CBCGDF Standardization Committee Launches the Compilation of "Technical Specifications for High-quality, Green and Low-carbon Concrete"

The Standardization Committee of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) has officially approved to begin compilation of the group standard "Technical Specifications for High-quality, Green and Low-carbon Concrete" on June 3,2024.

On the afternoon of July 15, 2024, the first meeting of the compilation working group was held online. The R&D personnel of Sichuan Tieke New Building Materials Co., Ltd. introduced the low-carbon and durable technical solutions for the whole life cycle of high-quality, green and low-carbon concrete structures.

The comprehensive material cost of high-quality, green and low-carbon concrete is lower, and the performance including workability, mechanical properties and durability is better. It can greatly reduce the use of high-energy-consuming and high-pollution cement adhesives, increase the recycling rate of solid waste, and extend the service life of concrete structures, thereby saving and protecting non-renewable resources and assisting sustainable development.

The group standard aims to respond to innovation and market demand for standards, improve product competitiveness, and lead the industry to high-quality development through its advancedness, leadership and good implementation effects.
