CBCGDF Volunteers from the Conservation Area for Black Bears in Phoenix Mountain Launch a new Round of Summer Patrols

Recently, volunteers of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) from the Black Bear Conservation Area in Phoenix Mountain of Wuchang launched a new round of summer patrols. The action aims to go deep into the mountains and forests, monitor and protect the precious black bear population and its ecological environment in this area.

During the patrol, the volunteers conducted a comprehensive and detailed survey of the black bear's activity area. They not only record the black bear's feces, footprints and other biological markers, but also observed the growth of vegetation, surrounding water sources and other environmental factors, so as to more accurately assess the survival of black bears.

The volunteers also actively communicated with local people to understand the survival of black bears in the mountains, and distributed brochures and environmentally friendly cloth bags to increase local residents' awareness and participation in black bear protection.

CBCGDF Volunteers are practicing the concept of green development with practical actions, tirelessly striving to protect black bears and preserve the beauty of the local ecology.
