Nine Ministries Jointly Issued the "Corporate Sustainable Disclosure Standards-Basic Standards (Trial)", CBCGDF's Suggestions Adopted

On December 17, 2024, the Ministry of Finance and eight other ministries jointly issued the "Corporate Sustainable Disclosure Standards-Basic Standards (Trial)". The notice pointed out that the construction of China's sustainable disclosure standard system should be steadily promoted, and the disclosure of corporate sustainable development information should be standardized. Before making regulations on the scope and requirements of implementation, the standards will be voluntarily implemented by enterprises.

 


During the period of soliciting opinions on the basic standards, the Research Department and the Policy and Law Department of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), together with relevant departments, carefully had discussions and put forward twelve suggestions. Some of the suggestions and opinions were adopted.
