Niamh Cunningham's Painting: Banna Vortex

Banna Vortex refers to an immersive experience where the focal point is a mature tree, surrounded by centrifugal forces created by fauna, which gradually transform into a swirling vortex of leaves. This dynamic composition reflects the interconnectedness of the ecosystem, where every element is in constant motion and flux. The artist captures the essence of nature's energy and vitality, using vibrant colours (delete acrylics) to evoke a sense of continuous movement within the forest, illustrating the constant transformation of life and its forces. ’ Banna Vortex’ is part of the Forest Breath Series.
