ZHOU Jinfeng Meets with the President of Fondazione Univerde, an Italian Environmental Organization | The ⅩⅥInternational Forum for Information on Safeguard of Nature

The Greenaccord Cultural Association held the ⅩⅥ International Forum for Information on Safeguard of Nature in Rome, Italy from October 10 to 12, 2024, themed "Building the future together! Together, we can!"  Dr. ZHOU Jinfeng, Secretary General of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) was invited to attend the forum.

At the meeting, Dr. ZHOU Jinfeng, Secretary General of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation, talked with Mr. Alfonso Pecoraro Scanio, President of the Italian environmental organization Fondazione Univerde, and the two sides sought future cooperation in environmental protection, addressing climate change and supporting sustainable development.

Fondazione Univerde is an Italian environmental organization dedicated to research, education and advocacy in the field of environment and sustainable development. The organization may participate in a variety of activities, including promoting projects to protect natural ecosystems and biodiversity, researching and promoting methods to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and promoting the concept of sustainable development, including the balance of the three aspects of economy, society and environment.

The ⅩⅥ International Forum for Information on Safeguard of Nature is open to the international media community, and more than 100 journalists from five continents will attend the meeting. The forum will reflect deeply on the necessity of all human activities, as well as the contributions of institutions, politics, finance, economy, sports, media, etc. to solving the environmental crisis in their own specific ways, and look to the future. The three-day forum will discuss the contributions of women, sports, politics and institutions, business and technology, economy and finance, as well as media and journalists.

The 2024 World Water Forum Opens in Indonesia's Bali

The 2024 World Water Forum (10th WWF) under the theme of "Water for Shared Prosperity" officially opened on Indonesia's island of Bali on Monday. This year ’ s theme emphasizes the need to work together to promote efficient and integrated water resources management to common prosperity.
