CBCGDF Media Won the "Greenaccord International Media Award" | The XVI International Media Forum on Safeguard of Nature | Rome, Italy

CBCGDF Media won the "Greenaccord International Media Award" at the 16th International Media Forum on Safeguard of Nature.

 


The XVI International Forum for information on Safeguard of Nature, organized by Greenaccord Cultural Association, was held on October 10-12, 2024 in Rome, Italy. The theme of the forum is “Building Future Together. The Turning Point: Together We Can”. This is the 16th international media forum successfully held by the Greenaccord since 2003. The forum promotes the professional development of environmental journalists, provides a communication platform for environmental protection and sustainable development issues worldwide, disseminates environmental information through the media, increases public awareness of environmental issues, and promotes the participation of governments, businesses and citizens in environmental protection and sustainable development efforts.

 


This forum is open to the international media community, and more than 100 journalists from five continents will attend the meeting. The forum reflect deeply on the necessity of all human activities, as well as the contributions made by institutions, politics, finance, economy, sports, media, etc. in their own specific ways to solve the environmental crisis, and look to the future. The three-day forum discussed the contributions of women, sports, politics and institutions, business and technology, economy and finance, as well as media and journalists. The "Greenaccord International Media Award" is to recognize Asian media that have outstanding performance in environmental services.

 

"CBCGDF Media" is the media matrix of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), which aims to serve ecological civilization, serve scientific communication, serve the construction for all life on Earth, promote biodiversity conservation and green development, and realize a new pattern of co-construction, co-governance and sharing. CBCGDF Media is well aware of its responsibilities and missions in ecological environmental protection, and continue to enhance the intensity and depth of reporting, let more people know about the concept of ecological civilization, and raise public awareness of environmental protection.

The 2024 World Water Forum Opens in Indonesia's Bali

The 2024 World Water Forum (10th WWF) under the theme of "Water for Shared Prosperity" officially opened on Indonesia's island of Bali on Monday. This year ’ s theme emphasizes the need to work together to promote efficient and integrated water resources management to common prosperity.
