The National Park Law (Draft) Adopts 12 Suggestions Submitted by CBCGDF

In order to promote the construction of national parks with high quality and accelerate the modernization of harmonious coexistence between human and nature, the National Forestry and Grassland Administration has released the National Park Law (Draft for Comments) and solicited opinions from all sectors of society.

 


The Legal Working Committee of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) held a special discussion meeting on this on September 14, 2022, inviting experts from universities and research institutes, representatives of national parks and nature reserves, as well as experts and scholars such as the director of the CBCGDF's conservation areas and representatives from the practical field. In view of the current problems and confusions in the construction practice of national parks in China, many constructive opinions and suggestions were put forward, among which 12 suggestions were adopted.

The 2024 World Water Forum Opens in Indonesia's Bali

The 2024 World Water Forum (10th WWF) under the theme of "Water for Shared Prosperity" officially opened on Indonesia's island of Bali on Monday. This year ’ s theme emphasizes the need to work together to promote efficient and integrated water resources management to common prosperity.
