ZHOU Jinfeng Talks with the Co-founder of PR3 to Promote Reuse and Sustainable Development

On August 20, 2024, Dr. ZHOU Jinfeng, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), held an online meeting with the PR3 co-founder and the team, and had in-depth exchanges on the cooperation between the two sides in the field of plastic reuse.

 


Previously, members of the CBCGDF Reduce and Pick-up Plastics Working Group actively participated in the proposal work of the "Container Washing Standard".

 

In this meeting, Dr. ZHOU appreciated the progress made by the project in the formulation of plastic reuse standards. He particularly mentioned that the suggestions made by the CBCGDF Plastic Reduction and Collection Working Group on the PR3 container cleaning standards have been adopted, which reflects the positive results of the cooperation between the two sides. Dr. Zhou also said that CBCGDF will fully support PR3's global solicitation and open competition activities in labeling standards, encourage college students and other groups to actively participate, and jointly promote global plastic pollution governance.

 

The two sides agreed to strengthen communication and cooperation, jointly promote the improvement and promotion of the PR3 international standard, and contribute to global plastic pollution control.
