XIE Boyang Delivered a Speech to Congratulate the Establishment of the CBCGDF Green Link International Cooperation Fund

On August 27, 2024, The Academic Conference on Building Ecological Security and Green Development & The Green Link International Cooperation Fund Establishment Conference was held at the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Mr. XIE Boyang, Chairman of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation(CBCGDF), was invited to attend and deliver a speech.

"Dear experts, professors, researchers and friends from the news media, good morning, on behalf of one of the organizers of this conference, the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation, I would like to express my sincere thanks to everyone for participating in today's grand event.

We would like to especially thank the "Belt and Road" International Scientists Alliance, the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Institute of Geography and Earth Ecology of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences. Everyone has made a lot of efforts for this conference, done a lot of preparatory work, and done a lot of preliminary work, so that our conference not only has academic exchanges, but also has specific progress, jointly block the sandstorm, and plant green to protect our homeland.

The China-Mongolia Sand Control Green Development Typical Enterprise Demonstration Ecological Technology Public Welfare Project is located on the only way for the Siberian cold current and Mongolian sandstorms to the south. The Gobi Desert area there will establish an international desertification control experimental area base, including a seedling and grass seed breeding base, a sand control and forest belt green ecological barrier, an environmental ecological monitoring system, and public welfare activities such as scientific and technological tree planting exchanges and ecological education to create an internationally influential one. Green ecological public products are one of the purposes of our meeting. We must not only strengthen academic exchanges on green development in ecology, but also solidly promote the continuous progress of ecological construction projects.

The CBCGDF is a social welfare organization and a social academic group in the China Association for Science and Technology system. We are very happy to cooperate successfully with the "Belt and Road" International Scientists Alliance. I wish today's meeting a complete success. Once again, I would like to thank all the experts, scholars, professors and researchers who participated in the meeting. Thank you.
