China News Service Interviews British Sinologist Martin Palmer | Assisted by CBCGDF

Recently, the International Department of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation(CBCGDF) assisted reporters from China News Service to contact British sinologist Martin Palmer (Chinese name:彭马田). In the summer of 2024, China News Service's "East-West Questions" column conducted an exclusive interview with sinologist Martin Palmer.

Martin Palmer, a British sinologist, researcher at the Club of Rome, visiting professor at the University of Winchester, UK, was a special adviser to the late Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. He translated many ancient Chinese classics, and his English translations of "ZhuangZi"(庄子), "Shangshu" 尚书and "Romance of the Three Kingdoms"《三国演义have become popular works in the classic series of the well-known publisher Penguin Classics.
