"One Earth, One Home for People and Birds" Lecture Successfully Held! | CBCGDF Volunteer

 On August 19, 2024, volunteers from the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) held a bird-loving knowledge lecture with the theme of "Living in the Global Village, People and Birds Share One Home" in Lianyi Community, Wenfeng Street, Guangling District, Yangzhou.

 


Volunteers showed community residents the colorful world of birds through vivid pictures and videos. During the lecture, volunteers introduced basic knowledge about birds to community residents, such as their living habits, migration routes and breeding behaviors, and popularized the role of birds in the ecosystem, as well as the importance of protecting birds for maintaining biodiversity and ecological balance.

 

Volunteers said that by holding this lecture, they hope to enhance the ecological and environmental awareness of community residents, let everyone realize the importance of protecting birds and maintaining biodiversity, encourage and inspire more people to participate in ecological and environmental protection, thereby helping Yangzhou's ecological civilization construction and working together to build a beautiful future of harmonious coexistence between man and nature.
