CBCGDF Responsible Tourism Working Committee Hold Its August Working Meeting to Discuss and Study the Policy Documents Issued by the National Tourism Administration

Recently, the National Tourism Administration issued the "Guiding Opinions on Promoting the High-quality Development of Tourism Public Services". The guiding opinions aim to improve the quality and efficiency of tourism public services, ensure that the rights and interests of tourists are effectively protected, and promote the high-quality development of the tourism industry.

On the morning of August 6, 2024, the Responsible Tourism Working Committee of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) held a working meeting in Beijing. The main topics of this meeting included studying the "Guiding Opinions on Promoting the High-quality Development of Tourism Public Services" and discussing how to help my country's responsible tourism and sustainable development through work.

"Responsible Tourism" was one of the core topics of this working meeting and was fully discussed at the meeting. Responsible tourism not only focuses on the impact of tourism activities on the environment and society, but also emphasizes respect for local residents, local culture and natural resources, and biodiversity protection during the tourism process. The meeting discussed how to help tourism managers, operators and tourists implement responsible tourism through the work of the working committee to ensure the sustainability of tourism activities and friendliness to the ecological environment.
