Preserving Aquatic Life: CBCGDF to Participate Technical Workshop on Aquatic Species Listed in the CITES Appendices in 23 – 24 April 2024 (CICG, Geneva, Switzerland)
In April 2024, a representative from International Department of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) will attend a technical workshop in Geneva, Switzerland, organized by the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) focusing on aquatic species listed in Appendices I and II. This gathering, scheduled for April 23rd to 24th 2024, aims to discuss standards and procedures for revising these species listings.
This Workshop’s critical topics encompass the protection and management of aquatic species in trade, aiming to safeguard these valuable species' continued survival and reproduction through scientific information and international cooperation.
The China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), established in 1985, has long been committed to supporting endangered species conservation, wetland protection, forest conservation, grassland conservation, marine conservation, and related efforts.
