2024 Earth Day theme "Planet vs. Plastics" | CBCGDF Volunteer Actively Participate in INC-4

The Fourth Session of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee (INC-4) to develop an international legally binding instrument on plastic pollution, including in the marine environment will be held from April 23rd-29th.

With 9.2 billion tonnes of plastic produced since the 1950s, and 430 million tonnes added annually, urgent action is required to address the mounting plastic crisis.

The theme of 2024 Earth Day is Planet vs. Plastics, which also reminds us it is our shared responsibility to protect the earth and reduce plastic pollution.

CBCGDF Volunteer actively participates in INC-4. They will attend relevant events organized by the Governments of Brazil and Rwanda during INC-4, and contribute to youth power and participate in global environmental governance.
