CBCGDF Suggestion on Graphene Development Implementation Plan in the Next Five Years

The China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) Plastic Reduce & Pickup Working Group provided three suggestions on the "Beijing Graphene Industry Development Implementation Plan (2024-2028)" draft and the "Technical Specifications for Continuous Monitoring of Carbon Monoxide and Hydrogen Chloride Waste Gas from Stationary Pollution Sources" draft.

Recommend including the concept of “climate change" in the graphene plan due to its potential to address environmental challenges, aligning with Beijing's dual-carbon goals.

Emphasize graphene's potential in environmental governance, pollution prevention, and global plastic pollution negotiations.

Suggest adding risk assessment, ethical considerations in scientific innovation, and intellectual property protection in the drafts to ensure safety, sustainability, and international competitiveness.
