CBCGDF Overseas Chinese Federation Candidate Committee Meeting Successfully Held

On April 16, 2024, the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) Overseas Chinese Federation Candidate Committee Meeting was officially held online and offline. The core content of this meeting is to elect persons in charge of the CBCGDF Overseas Chinese Federation,clarify the organizational positioning to further promote exchanges, cooperation, and services for overseas Chinese and their families at home and abroad.

At the meeting, Dr. ZHOU Jinfeng, Secretary-General of China Green Development Council, first announced the main agenda of the meeting and introduced the basic information of the candidate members; secondly, the participants elected the person in charge on-site through secret voting; then announced the election results; and finally announced the list of consultants hired by the CBCGDF Overseas Chinese Federation and solicit opinions and suggestions from committee members.

Zhou Jinfeng concluded that the CBCGDF Overseas Chinese Federation is a new team. Through the team, we can play a role and carry out our work. First, give full play to its role within the Overseas Chinese Federation system. Second, give full play to the role of providing services within the CBCGDF. Third, give full play to the role of communication and publicity to promote green development.
