Dr. Zhou Jinfeng Delivered a Keynote Speech at the Carbon Neutral Sustainable Development Forum Host by HKUST Beijing Alumni

On 22 June 2024, Dr. Zhou Jinfeng, Secretary General of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), was invited to attend the Carbon Neutral Sustainable Development Forum organized by the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology Beijing Alumni Association. Dr Zhou Jinfeng delivered a keynote speech on What is Sustainable Development?

The Carbon Neutral and Sustainable Development Forum organized by the HKUST Beijing Alumni Association aims to promote a deeper understanding of carbon neutral and sustainable development amongst HKUST alumni and the community and enhance interaction.

He emphasized that the core of sustainable development lies in our concrete actions. We cannot rely solely on technological advances or policies and regulations but need to involve everyone to achieve ecological balance. Only in this way can we leave a sustainable planet for future generations.
