CBCGDF Representatives Attended the SAC/TC563 Plenary Session and Proposed 8 Suggestions for the Draft of the Electronic Commerce Development Index Framework

On the afternoon of May 9, 2024, the National Technical Committee for Standardization of E-commerce Quality Management held a working meeting of all members in 2024. Mr. Ma Yong, Deputy Secretary General of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), attended the meeting and proposed 8 revision suggestions and opinions on the draft of the Electronic Commerce Development Index Framework.




The eight suggestions are:

1.The name of the standard should be consistent with the content; 2. Modify the indicator expression in the Electronic Commerce Development Index Framework.; 3. The impact of the entire development of e-commerce should be considered, and corresponding indicators should be added; 4. Increase the potential and space for D3 development, reflecting the direction and space for the future development of e-commerce; 5. E-commerce platforms are the infrastructure for the development of e-commerce and should be reflected in the indicators; 6. Reflect the construction of laws and regulations in the indicators; 7. Pay attention to the protection of consumer rights; 8. Expand the scope of carbon emission indicators.
