On June 23, 2024, the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) New Era Science and Technology Communication and Publishing Research Think Tank launched the "Biodiversity and Green Development Translation Series" environmental protection book recommendation activity, planning to select and translate and publish a series of books. This project aims to promote knowledge exchange and share on a global scale and promote the mainstreaming of biodiversity. CBCGDF New Era Science and Technology Communication and Publishing Research Think Tank sincerely invites experts across the society to participate in this important project.

In the context of the increasingly intensified global ecological crisis today, biodiversity conservation and environmental protection have become major challenges facing mankind. Scientific research, policy making, public education and the accumulation of practical experience are inseparable from excellent book resources. Through this book recommendation activity, CBCGDF hopes to introduce foreign biodiversity and environmental protection theories and practical results, enrich the high-quality resources of the Chinese book market, and promote global knowledge sharing. It also hopes to improve the public's awareness and understanding of the importance of biodiversity and environmental protection through the dissemination of high-quality books.

The CBCGDF New Era Science and Technology Communication and Publishing Research Think Tank now sincerely invites experts and scholars, research institutions, environmental protection organizations, publishing houses, front-line conservation workers, volunteers and readers who care about biodiversity conservation around the world to recommend excellent biodiversity and environmental protection related books.

The recommended books should have the characteristics of novel views, rich content and wide audience, covering cutting-edge topics such as biodiversity conservation, ecological restoration, environmental policy, environmental management, sustainable development, social governance, and ecological civilization.

The CBCGDF New Era Science and Technology Communication and Publishing Research Think Tank will organize an expert committee to review the recommended books, select several books for translation and publication, and promote and distribute them through various channels.
